- Hawai'i Wildlife Fund Non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Hawaii's native wildlife through research, education and conservation.
- Save Kahului Harbor Dedicated to long-range, sensible planning for Maui's ocean transportation needs.
- Surfrider Foundation Working to bring life to its mission of preserving beach access, preserving near shore water quality, and protecting recreational and cultural sites through CARE: Conservation, Activism, Research and Education.
- Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Dedicated to promoting comprehensive and coordinated management, research, education and long-term monitoring for the endangered humpback whale and its habitat.
